The mission of the volunteer program is to support the garden's mission of providing opportunities to learn environmental stewardship, increasing awareness of healthier lifestyles, and promoting a sense of community by creating and maintaining an organic community vegetable garden in the Arlington area.

The vision of the volunteer program is to support the vision of the garden by providing volunteers to help promote and manage an organic vegetable garden for the Arlington community, teach gardening classes, and plan community events centered on healthy lifestyles, improving environmental habits, and strengthening community.
