Gardening Resources:

• The Organic Gardening Guide, published by the Univeristy of Florida IFAS Extension office offers detailed information about organic gardening practices.
  

• The Florida Vegetable Gardening Guide, published by the University of Florida IFAS Extension office offers insight into the specifics of growing vegetables in Florida.
  

• The University of Florida Extension office publishes a guide that is easy to navigate and offers a great overview of many topics. Check out Gardening in a Minute for answers to many of your questions.
  

• Standard Feed and Seed has published a tool to help you know what can be planted when. Download the chart now. 
  

Composting Resources:

• Based on Marion Owen's work, we created a comprehensive list of compostable items. Many people have asked us if it can be found on our website, and now it can!
  

• Here is a basic 'how to' on composting written by Arlington Community Garden.
  

Restaurants Offering Local Food:

• We had the privilege of being visited by Chef Scotty Schwartz during the 2011 Tour de Farms event on April 10th from 29 South Restaurant in Fernandina Beach. He did a wonderful demonstration and we urge you to visit 29 South to see for yourself.
